designing chairs...
Designing chairs does not give answers to the big questions in life. Most people also spend too much time sitting down.
But since, after all, designing chairs is what I do, my work should reflect the time I invest, the care given, and the skill involved. And what happens when you sit down in your "comfy chair"? Friends seem friendlier - the view becomes prettier - problems seem smaller. Thoughts flow more freely, and life is more inspiring.

my favorite dish
Fried angler with potatoes and rice (serves 4)

Norway has a long coastline, and the ocean has a lot to offer. I love fish, and when I have visitors I like to serve angler, also sometimes called fishing-frog, frog-fish or sea-devil. Despite its fearsome and unfriendly appearance, the angler is a true delicacy. The fish does not contain any bones, apart from its piece of cartilage in the middle, and when cooked, its meat turns white!
4 slices of angler (3 centimeters thick)
Turn the slices in a mixture of:
- 2 tablespoons of wheat flour
- 1.5 teaspoon of salt
- 0.5 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Then dip the slices in whipped egg and cream (1 egg and 2 tablespoons of cream). Melt the butter in the frying pan, until starting to brown, and fry the slices of fish on both sides. Fry them until they are thoroughly cooked, but not so long that they lose their juiciness.
Pour the rest of the egg & cream mixture in the pan, and decorate with 4 slices of (unsweetened) pineapple, together with red and green bell pepper (capsicum) rings. Serve with freshly boiled, good potatoes, and light sour cream or the following rice mixture: peel and chop one onion, and let it simmer in 1 tablespoon of butter. Add 2 cups of rice, 3 cups of boiling water, and 1 teaspoon of salt. Cover the pot with the lid, and boil according to the instructions for the rice you are using.
Dessert

Serve with vanilla ice cream and decotate with a leaf of lemon balm.
