past:
Grew up with my parents and 2 brothers on a farm. Nature was all around; a big garden, a forest nearby, a lake where we used to swim in the summer. All very idyllic. Though a bit far to friends and other activities.
I've always liked to sew and be creative. Later I started painting and drawing but never imagined it was going to be my living way.

present:
Living in Kolding, 60.000 people. Not much but still the 5th biggest city in Denmark. Now I enjoy visiting my family back home. I'm looking forward to show my newborn son the nature there.
To get a child is the biggest achievement ever. To see him so eager to experience his surroundings with such an open mind. Simple things as a funny face or happy song makes him jiggle and my heart bursts. It's fantastic.
At the moment I'm working with wallpaper. My graduation project in 2004 was a wallpaper collection which is now in production and is sold in over 10 countries all over the world. I'm constantly working on new ideas and projects to stay focused on the design process.

future:
I see myself living in Italy for a couple of years. From there I do freelance work alongside the wallpaper production. I'd like to get more experience working with the industry. I'm interested in combining art, design and industry. Combining different product groups to challenge the viewer. -Through patterns.
